D has featured her work at Light Grey Art lab and Family Tree Clinic. Her illustration clients include Pollen Midwest, Song Tea, Target, and Lil’ Libros. D also has made a couple murals for local restaurants in Minneapolis. She loves to include botanical pieces, women of color, a warm palette and textile elements in her illustrations. For 17 years, Ellen’s worked Tuesdays and Thursdays at Wild Rumpus Books in Linden Hills, which is considered one of the best children’s bookstores in the country. The store is even enhanced and adorned with fun items on the walls and ceilings to create a fun atmosphere.
The store has a huge variety of books for children of all ages. In fact, it probably is one of the best in the country.
